How to Play Daily Derby
Playing is easy. To learn how, follow these 4 simple steps.
STEP 1Using a Lottery playslip, which you can find at any Lottery retailer, pick 3 horses to finish in first, second and third places. Then, pick your race time, which is the time it takes for the first place horse to finish. You can also select Quick Pick®, or just ask the cashier for a Daily Derby Quick Pick, and the random number generator will choose the horses and/or Race Times for you. You can play your horse and Race Time choices for 1-7 or 14 consecutive draws on one playslip by marking the Advance Play box. STEP 2
Pay $2 per play for each Daily Derby ticket. Your ticket is your receipt. STEP 3
Know the draw times. Daily Derby draws take place every day, after the draw entry closes at 6:30 p.m. STEP 4
Use any of these ways to see if you’re a Daily Derby winner:
- Look on the Lottery website for winning numbers and prize amounts.
- Download the Lottery mobile app to see winning numbers.
- Scan your ticket using the Check-A-Ticket feature on the mobile app.
- Use the Check-A-Ticket machine at a Lottery retail location.
